ABOUT
US
Drs. Perry and Rona Tankard have been dedicated members of the healthcare field since 2006, faithfully serving communities throughout North Carolina in a variety of professional roles. Over the years, they have provided compassionate care, support, and guidance to individuals and families while working across multiple areas of the healthcare industry. Their commitment has always been centered on improving the quality of life for those they serve and ensuring that patients receive respectful, dignified, and dependable care.
Through their years of experience, Drs. Tankard recognized the growing need for reliable, compassionate, and high-quality home healthcare services within the community. Motivated by their deep love for people and their passion for service, they founded WAR Memorial Home Healthcare Agency to provide personalized care that allows clients to remain safe, comfortable, and supported in their own homes.
They launched WAR Memorial Nurse Aide I Training Academy in 2023. The academy was established to equip aspiring and current nurse aides with the knowledge, hands-on skills, and professional training necessary to provide exceptional care. Through comprehensive instruction and mentorship, the program prepares students to meet the growing demands of the healthcare field while maintaining the highest standards of compassion, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
